Guess what - GAY MARRIAGE WAS ALREADY ILLEGAL IN TEXAS. Now without arguing the idea of gay marriage, let's just discuss the need for a constitutional amenedment. This is EXACTLY the kind of government beauracacy that I'm against. IT was already illegal why did we need an amendment? What a waste of time, effort and money. This was mostly approved the the religious communities. If you don't want gays getting married in your church, fine. Ban it in your church. Whatever happened to the separation of church and state? Never mind the legalized discrimination involved here. Why are we legislating religious beliefs? The only good thing is that the younger population voted 90% against this amendment. So there is hope for the future at least. May they be more enlightened and learn from our generations stupidity. I'm still surrounded by morons. You are too.October 21st
Someone recently told me they didn't believe that the U.S. actually landed on the moon, Comments like this just get me in a twist, My simple answer to this statement was "If we were gonna fake it, why did we wait until Appollo 11 to land? Why not on Apollo 2?" What has happened that has caused us to believe in unscientific claptrap? And what about supposed Intelligent Design? What a steaming crock of shit that is. DON'T GET ME STARTED! I'm surrounded by morons.Here is a handy timeline of the quest for the moon, including both U.S. and U.S.S.R. missions. I found it enlightening. Damn if there isn't a lot of crap up there.
